The catalysts of man's success are unswerving determination and courageous foresight. Personalities with iron will and clear vision take stumbling blocks on their way as stepping stones in reaching their goals.
In depth involvement inspite of adversities is the hallmark of people out to prove to their fellowmen that guts and perseverance are the stairways to glory.
It is rightly asserted that when sloth and apathy reign, all men become slaves.Therefore, we must never allow ourselves to become slaves to nasty habits, ugly attitudes, indiscipline, indolence, and self-interest.
Rather, there is a compelling need for men and women of today to possess courage, vision, initiative and purpose to enable them to contribute to national well-being and global uplift. There is much wisdom in what a great soldier once said that if we cannot find a way, let us make one.
Also relevant is what P.M. Ruskin aptly declared: "The man who wastes today lamenting yesterday will waste tomorrow lamenting today."
Significantly enough, history is replete with names of men and women who have used their handicaps as a challenge rather than as obstacle, as a stepping stone to triumph, and glory.
Their life, their spirit, their energy, their fortitude and self-reliance put many a healthy, normal being to shame. While many of the healthy people could have done better, we find them often complaining and grumbling.
Both the physically sound and handicapped can strive for glory and sucess if they develop and create w/in themselves guts, persistence and constancy of purpose that would enable them to rise above mediocrity.
So, if you are hale and hearty, you have more to give. If you are handicapped, you can still give. It pays to remember that those who brng sunshine to others cannot keep it to themselves.
You stand to profit much by giving however insignificant and small. See to it that your footprints be not mere marks of a heel. Rather, let them be footprints of a great soul on the sands of time.
No matter how brilliant an action is, it is worthless if it is not the result of a great design or goal. Men and women without number have attained honor and celebrity because their goals and objectives are charted and steered by guts, devotion and commitment.
Glory and greatness lie not in being strong, but in how you use your strength. Such observation could well be construed to mean that fame, honor and glory can be achieved only through guts, daring and vision.
The great trail of human endeavor lies along the beaten highway of steadfastness, and only those who are most persistent and persevering would reap success.
Lives of great men exhort us to make our life useful and sublime. It would do well for us all to reaffirm once more the ever burning rationale that glory and success are never achieved without guts, initiative and tenacity as eloquebtly postulated by these stirring lines:
Do what you can, being what you are;
Shine like a glow-worm,
if you cannot be like a star;
Work like a pulley,
if you cannot be a crane;
Be a wheel greaser,
if you cannot drive a train.
* first of all thanks if you read the whole article..

prng cnsbi lng nya n 'use whatever you have to attain whatever goals you dream of achieving.' at isa pa pina-realize sa kin ng article na to n wla kang mggwa n mbuti sa buhay mo pag wla kang initiative, na kailngn sa yo tlg manggaling yung effort pra sa mga bagay na kailngn at gusto mong gawin.. don't be a whiner because of your failures or because things are not going the way you want it to be when you know that you did not exert your full effort to attain your goals. so un lng.. tnx sa maga nagtyaga magbasa.. sana my napulot kayo na makktulong s inyo.
